Cecelia Dworak

Hello! My name is Cecelia Dworak and I am a double major in government and politics and secondary education at the University of Maryland. I am from Silver Spring, Maryland, not far from UMD's campus. In high school I was involved in my school's track and field team, swim team, and chamber choir. In all three of these activities I served as a leader, which is where I first learned the importance of developing leadership skills and working alongside people with a common goal. This is part of why the public leadership scholars program appealed to me so much when I was accepted into College Park Scholars.
